Swarm Removal

Free!

We offer professional and reliable free swarm removal services for homeowners and businesses in your area. If you've discovered a bee swarm on your property, don't worry—our experienced team is here to help. We safely and efficiently remove swarms without harm to the bees, ensuring they are relocated to a safe environment. Our service is completely free of charge, and we aim to provide a solution that helps protect both your space and the local ecosystem.

If we are able to successfully catch the swarm, we will reward you with some honey!

Hive Hosting

$150/month for 2 hives (6 months minimum)*

Renting a beehive allows you to learn about beekeeping and pollination without the full responsibility of hive management. It is a cost-effective option, eliminating the need for upfront investments in equipment, bees, and tools. Additionally, hive rentals provide flexibility, enabling you to explore beekeeping before committing to ownership.

 *Hosting more than 10 hives will decrease the rate to $55/mo/hive. Also, one hive is the maximum limit in some city limits, therefore, only one hive is acceptable in that circumstance.

  • Two Langstroth hives with well established colonies, expertly placed and regularly maintained.

  • 30 lbs of honey at fall harvest, production levels permitting. 

  • Beneficial pollination, increased crop yields, and ecosystem enrichment.

Apiary Hive Setup Package

$3000

Everything you need to get started on your own with an hour of expert consultation.

  • Beginner’s Beekeeping Book and one hour of basic instruction, including our treatment free philosophy.

  • Ownership and registration of three beehives: Two deeps, 20 frames, lid, bottom board, feeder, and three honey bee colonies.

  • Three hive stands/feet with option to add Leveling Package (see below)

  • Entry level beekeeping tool kit.

  • Swarm relocation, as needed.

  • 1 ounce packet of bee forage seeds and brief forage discussion.

  • 15 lbs of honey at fall harvest, production levels permitting.

Hands-Off Package

$3000 +$55/hr of maintenance

With no hands-on work required, you can support pollinators, enhance local biodiversity, and enjoy fresh honey, all without the commitment of maintaining the hives yourself. You own the hives and bees, we do all the work!

  • Includes everything from the Apiary Hive Setup Package (except for the toolkit and book), plus..

  • ~20 expert beekeeping inspections a year. (Average/expected number. Can vary some depending on the needs of the bees).

  • Intensive swarm prevention and relocation, including increased hive inspections during swarm season.

Beginner Mentorship Package

$4000 + $55/hr of instruction and maintenance.

This approach allows you to gain confidence and experience without the pressure of full responsibility, making it ideal for beginners who want to transition into independent beekeeping while still ensuring their hives thrive.

  • Includes everything from the Apiary Hive Setup and Hands-off Package, plus..

  • ~20 expert beekeeping instructional inspections a year. (Average/expected number. Can vary depending on need).

  • Invitation to our monthly bee club meetings.

Hive Sponsorship

    -On-site pollinator talk or workshop for your team/customers

  1. Site assessment, Leveling and Planning – $25 (+ $55/hr for leveling)

    Walk through of the potential site and instructions for clearing and leveling will be given. Leveling is an optional add on if desired.

  2. Forage Consultation Package- $175

    • Site assessment for optimal honey bee forage, as well as phenological charting.

    • 1 ounce packet of organic bee forage seeds.

    • Procurement of either organic seeds and/or plants to increase site productivity, depending on needs of the site. (Inventory, install and application costs of site amendments will be priced at a reduced rate if paired with additional packages.)

  3. Hive Inspection & Health Check – $55 per hive

    • Comprehensive hive inspection for pests, diseases, and colony strength

    • Detailed health report with recommendations

  4. Varroa Mite and Disease Testing – $30 per hive

    If communicable diseases are found, the Northwest Apiary service equipment replacement fee of $500 will apply.

  5. UBeeO™ Hygiene Testing- $55 per hive (We highly recommend this service to assure you are cultivating the best genetics possible.)

  6. Queen Replacement & Genetic Improvement – Price of queens will be discussed depending on supply at time of need.

  7. Custom Hive Stand Commissions – Upon request.
